Producer, songwriter and mixing engineer PinPin has recently upgraded his Evening Moon Studio to 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, installing ORIA, the immersive audio interface and monitor controller by Audient as his main audio interface.

Choosing Logic Pro via MacOS as his DAW, his Dolby Atmos monitoring comprises 12 Focal monitors and the Avantone Mixcube as a separate reference monitor. His wide selection of EQs and compressors all feed into the Audient ORIA, making it easy to switch between 7.1.4 and stereo. “ORIA is essential for me, especially for portable device playback,” says PinPin.
As a private studio in Bangkok, PinPin tends to focus on recording vocals and occasionally small instruments in the vocal booth. He also offers mixing, mastering and arranging services. ORIA makes it easy for him to check audio balance between music and vocals.
