ASP4816 Double Act at Miloco
The first two ASP4816 analogue recording consoles sold in the UK are now up and running in two of Miloco Studios' newest writing rooms. Miloco clients can now experience the latest release from Audient in widely different settings: The Bridge in London SE1 (pictured left), and The Summerhouse residential writing studio on Osea Island (below).
With all the key features of a large format desk, ASP4816 delivers superb audio performance despite its diminutive stature. Both desks have got off to a good start in their new homes, as Miloco MD, Nick Young confirms, “These consoles seemed the ideal fit for both of the studios. We were looking for something compact but with versatility and in the right price range. The consoles' versatility means we can record, overdub or mix with ease. We have put both of the desks to good use and the early feedback has been very positive.”
The consoles feature Audient’s renowned
Class A preamplifier and 4 band EQ, and come with 40 faders, 48 inputs at mix, 16 bus routing, 6 auxes, 2 dedicated cue sends, 4 stereo returns, stereo bus compressor and a comprehensive monitor section.
The inclusion of Audient’s impressive new desk as a centrepiece for the high-end writing studios (which themselves have only recently been launched) is an indication of their high specification. The Bridge has been completely refurbished and re-equipped to provide writers with a high-end, relaxing studio, and The Summerhouse has been built from scratch on the inspiring Osea Island to serve as the ultimate residential writing retreat.
